ABOUT the ARtist

Hey Y'all! I'm so glad you are here!

My name is Allisha Murr and I'm the artist behind Murr.Art.Pls.

I'm a full time K-12 certified art teacher, mama of one, dog-mom of two and an artist in my (limited) spare time.

I grew up with a passion for art. I started drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon and I haven't stopped since. Most days, my art making is done in my classroom where I get to encourage my students to be creative and teach them that mistakes are just part of making art.

Recently, I found myself being pulled back to making time for my own art exploration outside of the classroom. Because of this, I feel like I've found my spark again.

All the art on my site are originals and handmade. I'm very pro human & handemade art.
